Is this for installs?  If so...you need to put the proper cpe on the outlet/occurrence for it to take hits correctly.  When you are in the services tab, pay attention to what services are there.  You will see a number that needs to match where you add what equipment.  If you see a code for HSD and it has a number to left thats the number you need to pick when you add the modem and so on.  If you see a DVR code, look for a number to the left and put your DVR in that occurrence.  You may hear dispatch say the account needs to be balanced when you are calling and this is because you are not matching devices to the proper codes and occurrences in billing.  When and if you put cpe in the right place, hit the account.  This will be at the bottom of the equipment tab.  You might have 2 buttons for hits.  One hits all equipment and the other is for 1 piece at a time and might also let you send an initializing hit(reset).  Hope this clears some of this up for you.  Many MSO's use this software and it is completely custom.  It may not be exactly like I explained but it has to work the same.  Match codes and locations/outlets to the proper cpe.
