I was in Sturgis 1983,84 and 85. Broke my back in 86 and haven't been back since. Not a 1%er, never claimed to be, if it's not your whole life, you'de never cut it. That said, i've been riding over 30 years and started on a 1973 shovel, my "new" ride is a 77 Superglide that i've owned since 1989. By the way, I rode that 73' from Youngstown Ohio all three years. Being from Youngstown I knew a few of the club members and they knew me, but you better know the code around these guy's, you could party with a club member all night long and think it was cool to approach him when he was with his brothers, I made that mistake "once" I never made it again! That said, go, have a good time, but make sure ya look up the word "respect" and for the love of God, leave the camera for sightseeing only!
