Esther, the person answering the phone at this company, says that they are an LLC, yet there is no Metro Tech Communications registered with either the state of Nevada or the city of Las Vegas; both are required for companies located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The physical address listed on their contract is incomplete; that is an office park with suites, and no suite # is given by Metro Tech. The address in Las Vegas also requires a South or North designation for that street; neither is given. Their website was put up overnight with very little verifiable information on it either, and if you read the text under the menu headings, it is nonsensical. Their company mission statement is "to inspire moments of optimism and happiness?" When asked how long the company has been in businness, Esther replies she does not know. She also does not know what the LLC might be listed under another name. This business walks and acts like a scam. When searching Nevada state corporations, several with the name Metro come up as being permanently revoked. When asking Esther for references of subcontractors currently working for this company, she says that they are busy working and cannot be pulled off of the job to speak to anyone. This is clearly unacceptable. Bottom line is to use caution here. So far, there is nothing verifiable about this company to support it being a reputable entity and plenty of red flags. So, before giving out any of your personal information or expending any money to work for this company, insist on some proof of their legitimacy, such as a Tax ID # or Articles of Incorporation. When I asked Esther for proof of the company's legal documents or references, she hung up on me. Proceed with extreme caution here. Hopefully, Cabl.com will do some checking into this company as well since they seem to be advertising extensively on this site for workers.
