Correct as you state it...........but every state is different. Then there is a Department of Motor Vehicles record plus a federal and state criminal record. The Commercial Driver License is a national record. Who knows what TSA can dig up, the Patriot Act being what it is. And there is a national sex offender list with state records.

As I see the problem, criminal records of all types should warn about the potential of dangerous people. But we, as a nation, cannot lock up all one time offenders and bar them from employment forever.

I don't see any progress towards an answer.
