Here's a prime example to back you.....MSO gets 90-22 for a DTV intall. Pays out 70-15. Not the best but def not the worst. Really, the only areas that you can make any money in with DTV are the markets that are SWM. Single line installs and custom work are the way to go.
Since all his techs were throwing a fit about not being paid on conectivity (he is keeping the 20 he gets from DTV) he decided to be generous and pay the techs 10 to hook up conectivity. Thinking that he is actually doing something "right - by his techs", instead he chooses to keep being a scum bag and drop the install price to 60-15. So, now instead of being guaranteed the 10 dollars on every install for yourselfs, he is now making more money off his techs so that he and his partner can keep driving his Rangerover. Apparently, making 20-60 dollars per job isn't enough. Do the math....
Do yourselves a favor and all those that ae too chicken #^%$ to do what's right by turning down this work.
