 It's called ethics, stealing another mans employees is unethical (thus the waiting period) and the reason you don't see much of it anymore is because a lot of greedy crooks have joined the ranks of the cable contractors. In the old days it was all about reputation. Now if a co. gets a bad reputation they just change the name of the co. and move on. now days there are so many contractors in cable it's hard to keep track of them.
