I know that Jesus never commanded us to commemorate or observe His resurrection, however He never prohibited it either.
When Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James went to the tomb to anoint His body and found that He has risen, I am quite sure they were filled with joy. And more than 2,000 years later so am I.
As far as it was his death that Jesus commanded his followers to observe.
Well, maybe that is one reason that I made a video in remembrance of this occasion and posted here on the bar.
The day that my children were born and the day that I got married was a very joyous occasion for me and even thought Jesus never commanded me to I try to do "something" to commemorate those occasions.
But what do you expect from a sinner?
