Ok John you asked for it ha ha, you say your going to buy your first gas grill, then you say the last one you had , had lava rocks. I'm confused. What did you steal the first one? Any how I think Webber is top of the line , but they're pretty darn expensive if ya ask me. I have a Grill Master 4 Burner didn't pay alot for it and it works just fine. What I paid for mine versus a Webber , I can buy 3 of them, so my last one lasted 12 years . All depends on your needs, I don't even use half the grill most of the time. Ya my old one had lava rocks but it just help hold heat,I could still regulate the burners I don't think they make them anymore.
