Cabledawg71874; It will really depend on your mental capacity to handle the bullshit? You will not be able to change it my fellow dawg! I just got out of a situation that I was in for 7 (SEVEN MONTHS) trying to change it for the better! (30 plus yrs in the industry) The MSO does not care! I don't know how these 6 months or 1 year in the industry guys get the management positions but it does not matter because we can't change it. Nor can we change the fact that the Technical Management allows their friendships to impede their judgement on moving the moron up the ladder into a position he can't handle nor has the technical abilities to do the job!
I will name the company I worked for because what I am saying is the "Truth"! Charter Communications! They wanted to pay me $12.something an hour to start as an Installer. When they move other 6 month or 1 yr pups into higher technical positions. Wow!
Can we change that? No way! It is what it is!
I tried a sale position and I almost went nutzzzz....Had a nervous breakdown over it. The department was so messed up it's not funny!
One of the worst experiences of my life in the Industry!

Accept the way things are or get out and find a better situation. It will only ruin your reputation to battle it...........................
