There is a lot of rural fiber projects starting up around the country, Obama finally started to release some funds for his Rural Broadband Package of getting I Net to those "not on Tel/Cable I net systems., might want to try some of them.   Wind Turbines maintenance as you sure  not afraind of heights.   What ever your decision, your not getting any younger...someday your be the old timer.  A Lot of power companies are looking as there is a large turn over now with older linemen retiring, you pole climbing experience would help
