i dont think that there is much of anything that you can do. i had the same thing happen 2 years ago! It hurt but i'm over it now.

I was doing up to 100 drops a week for this small MSO in ohio, they decided that we were costing too much and put one of their installers on the drop buries. they went from up to 100 a week to like 10 a week. so they saved the money they needed to.

in my case it was a money issue. i subbed from the guy who had the install contract and he was making money from his installers laying the drops and me burying them. the MSO also stopped them from laying drops unneccisarily too.

my oppionion is to not burn any bridges! this is industry talks alot and it could bite you later.
