Agreed.  Being a contractor you shouldn't have to have somebody looking over your shoulder every 5 minutes..    The contract I have now, I manage all the routing and calls..  The only calls I have to make are that I'm there and I can leave a vm if they don't answer and when I close it with just the numbers.    No biggie but they don't backcharge you for not waiting for them.
