O.K......I was advised by a friend to go take a fiber splicing course at the headquarters of a reputable company in the industry. The course is about a week long and you get certification and textbooks for around $2,000. Of course you'll have to buy at least $3-5 grand in tools to go to work,if and when you find work. Does anyone know if it's worth the money to go this route? I see plenty of ads looking for help,is there money to be made in splicing fiber?
