I have never fell for the "Cable Stretcher" but I FELL for this one.
When I was a newbie pulling strand in the easement we got to the end of line and my foreman told me to pull the slack up.  I am pulling and he yells, "More..more..more..."
Well, there was a tree next to the pole and I couldn't see him attach the preform, as he yells, "Is that all you got?  Pull harder you pussy."
I am pulling with all my might and then.....Snap he cuts the strand and I go flying.
I have always wanted to, but never had the heart to do that to my grunts.
With God all things are possible
