happens all the time... i do upgrades that pay 36 and they call directv for something stupid 60 days later and ends up 48 dollar backcharge. its legal if you are a 1099 contractor. its illegal if you are a w2 employee. luckily i only get charged anywhere from 30 to 150 a month, and i make that up in other ways
