If you're an install guy try this out for a laugh when you get one of those "follow you everywhere, million questions, I wanna know everything you're doing" type people. Cut a line to replace the F connector (inside/outside doesn't really matter), and just shake your head while looking sad and say 'I was afraid of that.' When the nagging A-hole asks "What in God's name is wrong?" turn to them while looking REALLY serious and concerned, and say, "Ma'am/Sir, you've got a bad infestation of Cable Weevils." They will have no problem signing the work order after you completely re-wire the house!
