I did the same thing John,lol back in 1979. Only my drill locked up on me and i couldn't get the bit out! I went to my truck and got mt 3lb lineman hammer and figured i'd smack it back into the house, i hit it and "boom!!" I was holding a wooden handle with no head on it? The aluminum siding had holes all over it just like a grenade had gone off! To this day i don't know how i didn't get hit!
