Back when I was running with the pack I would inspect the existing dish and if it was ok in most respects I would correct defects.....repoint, improve attachments.......... with the expectation that I would be responsible for defects. If the LNB even looked dusty I would change it out....rerun rat eaten wire = no problem. But hanging a new dish next to a functional one...in the dark...while it was snowing....or even on a spring morning..........never happened............So later something regarding the dish happened.............. BFD!................Keeping unused, shipped material in one's truck provides an inventory of spares and allows other jobs to go in even if the shipped equipment is not present at another job...........Joe
