  What I find works for me is throw the machine on SM-SM the only change that you need to make is play with the prefuse time I increase the time by 50ms until it looks good.  I like to before I sit on a large count clean up the electrodes and stabilize then calibrate on the SM-SM setting seems to work great for me.
