As for cable, fucking lose it. Put up an antenna and subscribe to Netflix streaming (which here also works well while on the phone) and get a blu-ray player that streams multiple services. Under $100 for many now. I recommend either LG or Panasonic players. Antenna nets us 45 channels free every month. Had this setup about 3+ years. Love it, never looked back. Take my advice and report back how you like it. Investigate what channels you can get via OTA in your area.TVFool.com
Bitch is you still need HSI from Comcast but you can likely work some deal out.
