I remember 10 years ago A Comcast sub came out and installed a modem for a lady friend of mine, and laied the line out on the ground from the ped to her trailer, punched a hole in her floor and connected the modem to the coax, powered the modem and when It aquired the cable signal he said my job was done, that we don't touch someone elses computer! and left.
$80.00 for 15 minutes of work, I had to go over to her place and finish the setup.
