Re: Contractor or Employee by add?

no if you were an employee they would be providing the truck. Its just an image thing they dont want you going to a customers house in your 1980 izuzu truck with a rust hole in the side of it. They been bustin my balls about my ride if I get any money im just gonna get it painted. And if you are a contractor you would need to supply your own tools that is part of it. And some pay for training and some dont. When I trained the techs usually bought me lunch .Everywhere you go they do things differently so training for a week even if you know things real well is just a precaution so you can learn their way of doing things and how to fill out their paperwork. I worked for a company that used a span hanger for drops and another didnt use them so its diffrent everywhere you go. I can tell you I looked into a job with Lockheed martin a major defense contractor and they wanted you to train for 2 weeks without pay. So I dont think that add denotes employee
