I was going to say the same thing, key word he mentioned was "salary" Salary means exempt from overtime, but you do have to make over min wage, you say your paid salary, for 55 hours a week, does this company take out federal income tax and medicare, social security? If so then yes, you are a salaried employee and do not qualify for overtime wages. IF this company is not withholding federal taxes, medicare, SS, and you are paid the full amount, then your a sub contractor, and the laws change completely.
