smcvicker; Has any one put an OTDR or at least a power meter on your fiber. How far from the CO is the sub. Lots of places where splicers can go wrong. I would suggest putting an OTDR on first and seeing if there are any high loss or reflective fusion splices. How much power is getting to the ONT.If you are only allowed to hook up to the ONT and wait for go/no go I would think you did your job and now its time for someone to trouble shoot. Apparantly this is someone elses problem. You should be able to tell what kind of connectors are used at the ONT and keep them clean. Look for tight bends or pinched fibers in the house. If everything in the house is ok then you did your part.
