I guess some people see it as a joke.  For me I would rather have an amp on the ground in a ped. If I can redesign so that its underground instead of ariel; thats what I will do.  Sucks dealing with a strange situation at 2:00 in the morning pouring down rain, because some one could not think. Yes sometimes you cannot get out of it and sometimes it takes more work to set a ped instead of just putting something on the strand but for me working in a 2 man system I will make the time to make stuff as easy as possible for myself.
