In '85 I was cutting taps for $5 per and .02 per foot. All on hooks, don't think I owned a ladder, seriously! Can't remember getting a ladder until the 90's when I was doing some installs and then only used it for the house work. Prewire wasn't a word any of us knew! All new outlets at every job, no Triple plays or Double plays, I'll give you your props for those. But I can't remember any time I told a Supe I wasn't going to do a job because it didn't look safe i.e. I'm Scared! Sorry that wasn't an option when a lot of us were coming up in the business, you said that you found a ride home... from wherever you were at the time. We did it, however stupid it may have been at the time and didn't think anything about it period. So when us old guys give you a hard time, it's because we've been there, done that, not just because we are old enough to be your dad and can still run circles around ya! So either buck up and be a DAWG or stay on the porch. Have a great day.
