Along with my partner at the time, I once cut in a terminal 80' up on a pole between 2 buildings. We threw a 32' ladder to get on the first level, dragged a 28' ladder up, threw it to get to the next level, then dragged a 24' ladder to throw on the pole up all that with needed tools and material. We squwaked a little and they paid for an extra term but gee whiz...it was ridiculous! Can't believe it wasn't a step pole.
