A Brother of mine, back in the Chicago area, called today and asked about a grounding issue with his local wireless internet provider. They don't have access to cable (remote) and the only other option is dial-up or Hughs. The wireless provider quoted him a price for installation and then asked him if he wanted the premium package. he asked her what that was and all she said was it would be grounded for an extra 75 bucks and went thru all the reasons why he should shell out another 75 for the grounding. Has "anyone" ever heard of such a thing? I told him if lightning struck and burned down his house because they didn't ground their system that he could sue the cap out of 'em and that there are NECs that dictate they "must" ground their equipment, they don't have an option! Am I wrong?
