My system uses channel 19 as down stream.I picked this channel as down stream because of pagers tearing up video on 19 no regreats about it. I wouldn't do anything major with the pays as there is very little money in them. You didn't say how big the system is.I looked at hits first.Not a bad deal for the pays,cheap box available. I am contracted with Toner Cable to install a mpeg 4 headend off of avail media.Should be in in 3 months.Good luck.Chuck
