I work for them over here in east texas as a contract splicer, and do a little aerial placement. It's not exactly the same. Engineers are only allowed to order what theyre told to order, which is never enough or the right thing, supervisors push them just to put something on paper to get job out and figure we'll work it out when we get there. It's infuriating. But yeah, everything is in the crapper. From what I understand they aren't going to spend any money on maintenance whatsoever unless they are recieving multiple customer complaints. Only thing that's been keeping me in business is that att is putting fiber out to pretty much every cell tower in our area. But were almost done with that, so I don't know. I think were all in the same boat on that issue. Good luck man.
