home run every outlet if possible. you will have less places to trouble shoot when you home run. if the signal is still to high use attenuators to drop signal not splitters. some units you cant do anything about. . apartments and smart boxes etc. loop systems work but not ideal. wait till you have to trouble shoot a home with that kind of wiring. You will find its taking you more time than is needed because you now have to rule out the drop, the ground block,the first splitter, the line going to the next splitter, the next splitter . the line going to the next splitter. and so on. I'm sure you get the picture. loop system should be a last resort.
