don't just wax over the homerun every line from a single point advice. if there is a split in the house box drill it in or vice versa. then you can use a larger splitter if necessary for spec. a line to the modem and then a tv next to it is fine, happens all day everyday so long as you've got a proper signal. daisy chaining a house is wrong and is just plain lazy subs are paying you to do it right if they wanted done wrong they would ask their buddy/son-in-law who is "good with the computers" to do it for them. !
