based on the info you have provided I would say the best advise I could give is go to plan B
plan A is doomed from the start
Any "main Prime" that would give you a contract with your lack of knowledge is about to give you a lesson in business you will never forget and sadly this will affect not only you but those who follow you.
Stop and think if you were the prime would you ever give someone who has no prior experience in the field ( MDU rewire and construction ) a contract??
