Probably not the sat techs,
They have enough to do to get the junk installed. Also, most sat techs have no CATV experience so they would not know what a ped is. If they did have CATV experience they would also probably tone out the correct line....probably
It is the neighborhood hoods who get into the boxes and screw around most of the time in my opinion.
Also, some cable plants have more than one key style. If the cable tech cannot get into a ped because he has not been issued the correct key what is a poor boy with a hammer going to do?
