I agree with all here but the installer biotch NoKBull who has never done linework. I've done both and can testify that hourly line work is far less stressful than piece work. All depends on what you want. I really didn't mind the hourly jobs, but I did get $25 to $45 an hour (using their truck, gas, and  equiptment). I don't think I would do it for less.
