I agree with hookman and others that are saying if you are working for people that you have to fight with to get paid what you owe, then leave. If you are in an industry that eats you alive, takes your money, then spits you out, then leave. 30 years in the biz and no one ever took or kept what I was owed. Was I lucky? Perhaps. I prefer to think I chose who I worked for wisely LOL. I finally got out of cable, but it wasn't due to fighting with people to pay me for the work I did. I got tired of dealing with corporate gobble-dee-goop. Workforce cutbacks turn techs with advanced skills into installer/tc techs on top of dealing with all the major issues. I miss cable but will never go back. Too much crap that I refuse to be a part of. Some of you that come here day in and day out with your stories of being ripped off should also leave and find something new. Nothing is going to change for you.
