Re: Females in the Cable Industry....

Part of the hostility, I think, came from being introduced into the cable business by then husband. He was and still is the best cable guy (and teacher) I know. People had the idea I was riding his coattails into the business.  In a way, I did.  He trained me, and still to do this day, I call him and ask questions if there is something I have never seen before.

Now that I am in a different area, doing my own thing, people are hard pressed to say I am relying on him - when I have my own territory and get my jobs done without any help what so ever...
