As a Buddhist I may have been there in one of my past lives.
The teachings of Buddha have never claimed to have come directly from God. Buddha agknowledged that he himself was only a man and nothing more.
What I said was "Wasn't the bible written by man? I don't think God was holding the pen, scribe, pointed stick or whatever. There for isn't what was written open to the writers own personal interpertation or the dictators and editors for that matter."
I have also raised the question about the books that might have been left out of the bible because they did not fit in with the modern King James Version of the bible that supports the approximately 38,000 Christian denominations.
