N/2+1.5= Min/Max
Some systems use 2 instead of 1.5 if you are doing 1Gig
Number in cascade = N (Where you referenced from)
Also I use a spec of sucks outs more than 2db in any 5mhz is failing.
You also have reflections to deal with
A lot of this will be system specs provide if contracting.
