It can't hurt to join the lawsuit.  I was part of the class action against Bluegrass and Direct tech and received over 30 grand for a years worth of unpaid work and unfair work environment, so three years worth of work should net you at least 50 grand.  Also, the guy who help our group was from the EEOC, which is government regulated agency.  Keep asking these lawyers questions and try to record all conversations and read up yourself on the retaliation angle.  Instead of us asking questions, our lawyer always had questions for us.
