Just curious to see how many techs out there have to go through this. Smart Circle aka Advanced Communications is now telling us we have to take digital photos of 3 screen shots on the TV showing that the internet connection has been made.
We are being told the following:
IN ORDER TO GET PAID ON ANY MRV WITH ON DEMAND JOB YOU MUST NOW TAKE 3 PICTURES OF THE (1. NETWORK SETUP PAGE ON THE SCREEN, 2. THE INTERNET CONNECTED SCREEN 3. BACK UP AND TAKE A PICTURE OF THE WHOLE ENTERTAINMENT AREA WITH THE INTERNET CONNECTED SCREEN).
IF THIS IS NOT UPLOADED WITH THE JOB YOU WILL NOT BE PAID FOR THE JOB. THE REASON IS THE JOB IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL THIS IS DONE.
All photos must be in .jpeg format and separate files from the work orders (never upload multiple .pdf files)
The other questions I have are: Are you other techs being paid custom charges for installing the cinema unit? Is this considered an Add Outlet? Does an additional line need to be run everytime or will diplexers work? HSP (in-house) techs get paid extra to install, but what if the customer says no?
Any input would be appreciated.
