IF you can find enough to stay busy, you'll do well. Good luck with that. I assume you can splice copper as well if you were doing u-verse. That may fill in some of the lean times, at least enough to keep the lights on. Additionally, I hope you have 100 grand laying around to get everything you need, get insurance rolling, etc, it's very expensive. Some of the companies I know don't care about your certs, just results. I'm sure there are real companies that do care about training, if you find them let me know. That being said, no guts no glory. However at the end of the day, a lot of times you'll wish you made 16 bucks an hour.
