Hubby has done cable for the last 7yrs worked for Time Warner and Charter in NC, we have moved to Arizona and thought he wouldn't have a problem with going to work for Cox....he had a bit of a run in with the law when he was 18 and was on probation for quite awhile because he kept violating his probation.... He is now almost 34 and thankfully NOT that guy anymore. Today was told by the company here in AZ that hired him (sub contract) that he was ineligible due to his background. I am assuming this is a COX thing so I don't think he is going to waste any more time trying to do cable here, as he already worked 2 weeks for this company. What I am trying to find out is, does Directv require just the typical 7yr background (which is what had previously be ran when he worked for Charter & Time Warner) or are they going to run a super long in depth check (I believe this company ran some 10 or 15yr check..)?? Because we would have to purchase meters and such I just don't want to be wasting time or money at this point.
Background Check Question for Directv...
