Yes, I am, Mark. Look at John 3:3 where Jesus is speaking with Nicodemus for your answer. If you really want to wrap your head around the gospel, read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, prayerfully, asking God to open the eyes to your heart, giving you wisdom and understanding. You want to know what REALLY sealed my faith? After much research, I discovered that all but one of the apostles died a martyrs death, some seriously horrible deaths over the gospel. Now when the crucifixtion first started going down, they all scattered like scared mice, but AFTER the resurrection, AFTER they had seen the risen Christ, their lives changed profoundly. They began preaching the gospel, though severely persecuted, all the way to their deaths. A man isn't going to die for a lie. When it came right down to being tortured, they would have denounced it to save their skin. What did they have to gain by lying till death? Think about it.
