I did a project for the City of Coldwater (Board of Public Utilities) back in 1999. They were overbuilding the local cable company (Mercom) at the time.
Was in Windsor, Ontario across the bridge when I was with Philips Broadband and forgot who my contact there was but I remember they had the old Magnavox mainline amps. I did visit Comcast quite a bit back around 1996-98 in Taylor and Romulus, MI. Think the corporate engineer there was Adam LaRouche.
Our sales force in Canada was actually out of Turo, Nova Scotia (Cable Tel) and I worked with Vaughn Goosney. Went all over Canada doing technical support for his group. Too many places to list here.
Cable is a small world. I am sure we have met somewhere in the past!
