modem help plz

I have a customer the customer is a biz acct. with a linksys modem hooked up to a linksys w-router hooked up to a switch with static ip. I can not get a hold of their IT guy for any info. It was a Friday 20 till 5 and they all wanted to start the weekend so i didn't have much time with it. The problem is wireless works fine but anything wired doesn't. I used my computer directly to the modem I get nothing. I hook it up to the router i get nothing but i can connect thru the wireless, I am some what perplexed. Any ideas would be great. THX in advance.
