Why would anyone go inhouse for a prime when you could just go inhouse for the MSO ???
Prime usually pays $9.00 for newbies and up to $11.00 / hr to start for Triple play techs - MSO pays $9.00 for newbies and up to $18 for experienced techs (that's what I was offered). Benefits are usually better with an MSO ... Support is usually better with an MSO ... so why do the MSO's mandate that all contracting firms go to employee based? Is it Cablegarten ??? What's the point of working for a Prime at an hourly rate ?
Why go in house for a prime contractor ?
