Re: Speed tricks

When I make customer contact the only thing I have in hand is the work order or PDA. Confirm what the installation order states and what the customer is wanting. Do a site survey inside and outside. After everything is confirmed with the customer then the "speed" comes into play.

When I run several a/os and they will be ran through a basement or crawlspace I predrill all the holes and place a drop bury flag in each hole. Makes it alot easier to find when youre under the house looking for the holes. I precut all the coax to the estimated length that will be needed and make one trip into the basement or crawlspace carrying all the coax with me. Another thing only house wrap is there is no other option. That wastes alot of time and just looks bad.

Also get a good drill with a hammer option.

As someone also said the "bucket" is your friend. There are inserts that you can use that adds tons of pockets to store everything you need drill,clips,splitter,tags,ect....also makes clean up nice and easy
