Re: Missing Channels on Dish Network

The system was installed in 1998 and hasn't been touched since.  I think it's a dish 500.  I have two dishes, one is for locals I assume.  I have two receivers with 6 outlets, two of which share a remote.  Both receivers have the same missing channels.  On occasion a few of the channels will come on but it's always the same ones that go off line.  I've checked all the fittings for corrosion and tightness.  You have listed some very good insights.  I will check the signal strength and transponders for 110 and 119.
