I'm not a dish guy, I'm a lineman. I havn't called the service tech yet. I thought I'd give some of you dish dogs a go. I've had this Dish Network for about 10 years now. I'm missing at least 20 channels. When the receiver tries to find them, I get an error that the (satelite signal has been lost please wait searching). But you can wait all day and they never come on. I havn't been too concerned as most I never watch anyway. But Discover is one of the channels, and I want to watch that new series Gold Rush. Could it be an alignment issue with the dish. I've noticed lately that wind and rain frequently take it out or severally pixilate the channels. It didn't use to be this bad. Is this something I (with limited knowledge about Dish) can trouble shoot, or should I go ahead and call the experts?
